The World Halal Summit and Halal Expo, held annually under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, are organized by Discover Events in coordination with the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), an affiliated institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), together with other relevant OIC institutions and governmental and non-governmental bodies.
Held annually in Istanbul, Halal Expo is one of the world’s leading trade exhibitions for the global halal economy. The exhibition brings together manufacturers, buyers, investors, distributors, and industry professionals from sectors including food, cosmetics, finance, textiles, tourism, healthcare, and more.
With dedicated B2B meetings, country business forums, and international networking opportunities, Halal Expo helps businesses expand into new markets and build long-term global partnerships.
Held last year at the Istanbul Expo Center, Halal Expo 2025 hosted approximately 500 exhibitors from nearly 50 countries and over 50,000 visitors from nearly 110 countries, once again demonstrating the diversity and growth potential of the halal economy.
The event celebrated the 10th anniversary of the World Halal Summit and achieved great success with record participation and high trade volume. 1000 international buyers and over 9000 international delegations made significant collaborations and trade connections during the fair.
Halal Expo 2025 was not only the stage of trade; but also innovation, aesthetics and lifestyle.

These areas provided the opportunity to showcase the latest products and technologies in the sector. In addition, the Modest Fashion Show and the Award Ceremony, which featured 16 international designers, attracted great interest from visitors.

Halal Expo has a global vision that aims to make Turkey a central country in the $8 trillion halal market. It brings together Turkish brands and production power in many sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, textiles, tourism and finance with the halal consumer base of over 2 billion worldwide.

Halal Expo 2026 will continue to be a pioneering organization that directs the global halal sector, strengthens collaborations, and offers innovative solutions and sustainable trade opportunities.
This year, the event will also feature special thematic sections such as NOV (Natural, Organic, Vegan Area), Private Label (Private Label Products Area) and SEFPEX (Aquaculture and Equipment Area). These areas will highlight sectoral diversity and innovation in many areas, from natural living trends to private label production and the seafood sector.
